Sound too tinny, no bass
Since I installed the new headset (Roccat Kave 5.1) the sound ONLY in CS:GO sounds too high and tinny like I am missing the bass. Other games / music / youtube work fine. I tried different sound setups (headset, 2 speaker, 4 speaker, stereo, 5.1), always the same. Googled for two hours now and couldn´t find any similar problems or solutions, please help :/

i assume you're using a sound card?
I am also having this problem. I just got some adg audio technica's and dropped a lot of money on them. sound quality in spotify and youtube is perfect. but in game i am having the same problem.
I *might* be having the same issues, because I think I get better bass on YT. GL guys.
you need to make the bass go boom

Hi!

Tip1:
Go to windows control panel, open the audio controller (ex.: Realtek), Set the playback device to 5.1 surround sound. Adjust the equalizer according to your needs.

Tip2:
Don't forget to set the right format in the game too. HRTF is the virtual surround sond. It's likely you need to disable that, since yoiu have a surround headset.

Reinstall/update your audio drivers, Realtek if you don't have a soundcard. If you do, update the corresponding drivers!
