How to play normal cs in cs:go?
Since Custom Servers are dead we're left with those 5 gamemodes of which none equals the "normal" cs as we're used to in 1.6 and cs:s. Classic Competitive comes closest (only mode with ff on), but I don't want to be forced to play a full set of matches. I don't care if we're 5 or 15 people on the server, if my team is in a "disadvantage" or whatever.

So, how to play normal cs in cs:go? Preferably no votekick, ff on, collision off.

Don't play CS:GO, play 1.6 or Source, problem solved.

That is one thing I didn't like about CS:GO. I don't know how they could call it classic because it is not classic at all. It is completely different, which means it is not classic.

I still think there should have been 3 choices to play.

Competitive
Classic
Casual

Yeah so I'm not overlooking anything here? Of all the things they had to do they forgot to port the core game ...

No, it's the same, the difference is this game has a dead public community so there are almost no community servers, everyone is in Valve servers for the most part. Anything you were capable of in the previous games you can do in this game.

Theroetically. Try finding an italy server in middle europe on monday evening. There's none. Yes I could create one myself but something tells me noone would play since, as you said, everyone uses this oh so great new interface.

I hate it to be honest, if Valve would have just left servers up to the community like it has always been this game would have a thriving public community. If people wanted to play it competitively they could simply do what they always have, buy a 10 slot server and scrim or sign up on a place like ESEA to pug.
