Question about name tags

Can you freely edit the name on the guns or is it always your steam name?

Yes i did and found nothing.
In the screenshots section i found only name tags with the steam name of the owner, so i am curious.

A Name Tag is single use and only allows you to rename the weapon once. It can be renamed again with another Name Tag or if you no longer want the custom name on it you can permanently clear it at no cost.

Yes. Name Tags are maintained through trades and market sales. But again, they can be permanently cleared at no cost, so you'll never be stuck with an unwanted rename.

Cool thanks for the respose, just wish you would make stat trak weapons work the same way, have the kills stay on it even if sold or traded, but you could reset it if you wanted.
