Can you obtain drops from playing with bots?
Or can you only get them in online multiplayer?

Also, do I need to buy a key to unlock the, or is the key for unlocking drops?

I had drops in competitive and casual, haven't played with bots yet. The keys are only to open the crates, no need to buy them to get drops.

But if you get a drop, do I need to buy a key to unlock them?

What I'm asking is, in order to get these skins, do I have to pay more money?

No. You get guns and crates. For crates you needs to buy a key, the guns are free.

Crates are a gamble, you might get something good or something terrible. When you get a skin drop you know what you got.

Like in tf2 there random crates that are more common than weapons. Weapons you know what you got but crates you have no idea what you got untill its opened.

I've never play TF2. Is there a difference of items you got in a crate as compared to the skins that you get?
