Crashing- community servers & in game MAC

Game crashes right when I select browse community servers!! Also, in competitive mode, it crashes once every 5 rounds. Mac version use to work fine- what happened?

I've got an even bigger problem on my mac. It keeps crashing at launch!! I can't even get to the home screen to start a match! Any ideas? Please help. Thanks.

Then let's hope the people at Valve are reading this! I NEED MY CS:GO DAILY DOSE NOW!! Btw so you aren't having any problems launching and playing a game? It only crashes when you browse community servers? (even after the 'arms deal' update) ?

Crashing at launch. Even when console doesnt automatically open. I get to home screen and move the mouse, then it freezes and crashes

When did you start having this problem? Mine started after the 'arms deal' update. Let's hope Valve gives us another patch soon to fix it or (wait for it), someone with a mac that has the same problem but managed to solve it, reads this post and gives us the answer!

Same, it was after the arms deal update. Verified game cache, and tried to remove my custom config files to see if it'd work. Nope it didn't

Your MAC fans are starting to feel alienated! Why give PC players top priority? Why can't we all just get along? :P

Mine seems to crash on community server browser or going into the console.

Same with me mate. I think it only effects the Mac users. I've been playing at a local cyber cafe recently (its the only way I can get my daily dose of CSGO at the moment). Valve doesnt seem to care too much about us Mac users. SIGH :/ Zzz

Exactly this. I thought I could live without browsing community servers by connecting through console, but nope.

Same issue. Havent played for a few weeks but just tried to open CS last night and it keeps crashing. Steam opens ok but when I click Community servers it loads up the server listing then crashes a few seconds later. Have reinstalled steam 3 times. deleted all files under user/library/application support also but still same problem. Keep getting a crash related to google.breakpad which after a bit of googling found that steam users were getting the same issue around this time last year coincidently enough.
I have pasted part of the error message below. I reckon this is related to the recent arms update.

sent steam support a detailed email but just recieved a scripted troubleshooting guide which told me to do everything I have already done. Did it all again nonetheless and still not working.
