Sometimes I suck and sometimes I am too good
This thing is getting on my nerves. Sometimes I am too good at cs I mostly manage to kill 80% of enemy team without taking too much damage with any gun, but sometimes I suck so bad that even the biggest newb can kill me. It is getting on my nerves and I am not sure what to do about it. I always want to be good not just sometimes, because then I do not enjoy the game.

Does it have something to do with my physical abilities or with my psychical thinking ?

Please tell me what should I do to stop this from happening.

Maybe, everythings depends of your concentration. Puts every times a bottle of water nearby your computer. One more, currently, the wether is very hot, thereby, switch on your fan.

The best way to approach this issue is to record demos of your matches and then review them after. This way you can see how your aim actually was, if you made good decisions during the round, and if were aware of all the information that was available during the round(especially missing any key radar events). Its always good to do like 5-10 min of deathmatch before you play so your aim reflex is ready, and take breaks. Its very easy to play too many matches and play poorly without even realizing it. Then you can eliminate you play as a factor and possibly just have hit a run of bad games. Though when you realize you are being beaten by worse players, thats usually a good sign you need to take a little break away from the game. When you get surprised after you deranked, you are probably just burnt out on whatever mode you are playing.

It is not only that but also my awareness. Before I managed to sense more things at once. Like in cs_office I during the shoot out I killed 2 people but I also heard footsteps from behind and killed that guy too, but sometimes I cant see an enemy even if he is in front of me. I just don't get it.

To take a saying from racing, you are only as good as your most consistent laps. In this case, rounds. When you start getting consistently good, is when you know your skill level has increased. When it's hit or miss, there is something you are doing right and something you are doing wrong, obviously. TDM or Arms Race will help you get your reflexes up, and are also smart to play every so often in general. You can use arms race to identify the weapons you are most skilled in, and where you lack in skill. You can then go to TDM and practice using a specific weapon until you get to a level you are comfortable with. For example for me, I've gotten almost god like with the AUG, but the SIG really just doesn't click with me, same for the m4a4 vs AK, so lately I've been focusing on playing terrorist side in TDM and alternating between the SIG and the AK. Aim training maps also help, my favorite is - training_aim_csgo (be sure to turn on noclip at the start to get you out of the spawn pit. I've also found that playing maps on easy bots enables you to really get down your lines, shooting alleys, cover points, and such. With the easy bots you aren't really focused on staying alive, you are focused on learning those lanes and spots. TDM is also wonderful for developing that skill as well. Like any sport, you need the fundamentals down to really be able to improvise and utilize your knowledge and skill set.

I'm not anywhere near as good as I'd like to be right now, but I'm to the point where I can usually place top 3 in casual games. Once it is consistent, and I learn the ins and outs of every map I'll move into competitive.

My team and I were just talking about how sometimes we're unstoppable, then there's other times we can't win at all. That's just how it is, over time you'll be more consistent, but there will still times where you're just not on the mark.

And that is exactly what I hate. I want to be continuously good, not just "sometimes" or "miss or hit". And the fact that I can do nothing about that, makes me upset.

Sometimes you're teammate sux and sometimes your enemies sux and sometime you sux

watutryingtosaylolumadbrah?
Well in which sport you don't face this issue? It's normal. Happens to every pro player as well. Only because you did once well will mean that is your "standard" skill and everything below sucks. Not it was then your above average skill. And sometimes you are below average. Try to get along with this as this will make you better.

Best way is to download the demos of your competitive match. View the good and view the bad games. There u can see your faults or improve your "thoughts" by seeing new positions/new tactics whatever.
Sometimes there is no chance for you to get into the game in the first rounds. Thats mostly based on timeluck of the enemy players or just positions you didn't checked carefully. Or like it happens often too - a teammate which makes a fault - and the enemy is killing you from behind due to a non defended position.

Anyway, good luck :-)

Well from mine experience, i always do a warm up deathmatch game for aiming. The way you will play also depends on the teammates you have. I had so many games that i had to carry and still lost because, my teammates were bad. Taking breaks between matches also helps my focus for the next match. I prefer to play on Esea and Altpug because specialy on Esea the skill is allot higher then the normal MM. You can learn allot from other players there.

Everytime I do that it's completely different from what i actually did in game, the aim is off like hell, even the movement. This game is a broken peice of ♥♥♥♥.

The stress gets to you sometimes so you have to cope with it and play with your own specific skill level. Dont play with higher ranks because then you feel that you have to do good and you suck. Just relax and find your aim, also use left hand if necessary, global here.

Something new I found out. Never play with cold hands. I usually thought that it's just not comfortable but now I tried both, warm and cold. The difference is massive. Gold Nova 2 only but with cold hands silver can kick my arse while with warm I can kick master guardian arse. Just warm your hands on a radiator or something between matches or when you die until the new round starts. It helps a crap ton.
