Is there hacking occuring in Competitive matches?

Is there hacking occuring in Competitive matches that you play using CSGO matchmaking?

I used to play 1.5 1.6 Source, but most of the hacking and cheating were on community servers.

Has anyone experienced any issues?

Yes, of course there is hacking going on.

Not as much as some users let on though, there is a new system in place called overwatch that is doing a decent job banning the hackers.

Yes, every game has hackers. Counter Strike ones are tough to find. But sometimes (especially on CS:GO) I seem to get killed in the most ridiclous ways possible. I mean, I've played this game for 10+ years. I'm pretty great at FPS games. But whenever I get into CS:GO games anymore, man, sometime seems off with alot of players. Sure, some of them are just that good but I do think there are cheaters lurking. Heck they've even cheated their way to tournaments and so forth.

The most you can do, if you think someone is cheating vote to kick and report them.

Quite recently I had a hacker in my competitive game...pretty blatantly obvious one too. He didn't get banned during the game, but I'm not sure if the ban hammer caught up with him later or not.

1,174 hours of CS:GO , I have seen 4 cheaters, 3 of them in the free weekend.
It means every 293 hours i have seen a cheater, but like i said 3 of them were in the free weekend, if there was no free weekend sure i saw 2 cheaters in total I think, it's 1 cheater every 587 hours.

What I have seen is 100 whiners, kids complaining

Logical, you do not see hackers so they do not exist....Love it.

There were a bunch right after the ban wave. They all got caught and had to get their newb accounts back up to the elite ranks. It seems that is where most of the (longer term) hackers are.

Ye it have cheaters but have not seen one in over 2 months, when you see people whining about cheat, most of them is not true they just crying because they cant understand why people is better then them

I've only ever seen 1 that was obviously cheating, but that wasn't even in competitive mode though.

I've experienced one obvious hacker in competitive matchmaking. I've been suspicious of other players before... but this one guy was clearly aim hacking and wasn't even trying to hide it. He was even stupid enough to mention he was playing on a new account because his previous one was VAC banned. smh.
