Try downloading CoreTemp and see if the temps are good. Also see if your drivers are up-to-date.
If that doesn't work, then validate the game cache files from the "Properties > Local Files" dialog when rightclicking on the game in the library!
Amd x6 1090 3.2ghz ati 6990 4gb ram
My specs are:
AMD Phenon II X6 - 1075T@3.5 GHz
ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3
Radeon HD 6870 - 2 GB 256 bits
4 x 2 GB RAM DDR 1333
Win7 - 64 bits
Using full-HD resolution, 120 Hz monitor, ~150 fps on my favorite server, but decreases to 70-90 when this bug kicks in. Restarting CS:GO solves the problem , but after 1 - 2 hours the fps drop start again. Already checked CPU and GPU temperatures, CPU load %, everthing is OK. Not noticed this problem on my other games.
If anyone know how to solve it, please share!
However, posting here won't get you any assistance I'm afraid because,
a) no-one from Valve pays any attention to what's posted here, and
b) when myself and others posted this when we first encountered it, all we received in response were idiots replying and claiming that it, 'had to be our pcs' that were to blame.
This forum is unfortunately filled with half-wits and trolls who can barely comprehend what you're saying, but insist upon claiming they know better in their response, hence 'it must be your pc'...
The only option appears to be to wait until Valve get a grip - which I'm afraid could take some time...
Let's wait for the Valve solution, if is impacting tournaments they will fix it soon (I hope).
Anyway, thanks for the update!
people who have 250fps stable tell me that they get under 50fps sometimes with same settings. it has nothing to do with ur hardware as itself - more with something driverrelated or as i mentioned some probs with virtual space.
i suggest restarting ur rig after every 3 matches - it helped me and mates of mine.
i used to do so too, but it actually didnt fix the problem that well as restarting the rig. if ur in matchmaking and get these drops its better to restart just the game as itself. if u have the time restarting the rig seems to be more efficient to me.
greetings
Understood, since I have to wait for a slot on the server may be better to restart everything to play a few more rounds before the bug occurs. I will give it a try today.
Thanks, mate!
The game is bad enough without trying to shoot with 30fps
lol
