Massive lag spikes, fix?
Ive seen chatter all over about the spikes that started happening about two or so months ago after some patches. I just didnt realize it was a CS:GO issue until I did a huge hardware update. I run 1080P and pegged @ 300fps now but yet have massive lag spikes during game play. Its like the host is lagged but its all over. Surely there is a fix of some sort by now. But what? Anyone have any updates to this?

Lag is related to your internet connection, not your hardware capacity.

Ok, 50mb down, 12mb up. zero packet loss. This has been an issue for 3 months for this game. I play tons of other games and have no issues whatsoever. Its just CS:Go that does it. hell even farcry is playing fine (but not @ 300fps obviously)

In which country do you live ?
Never had this issue.

How does the lag show up to you? Are you having spikes in framerate, latency or what? Well probably not talking about micro-stuttering anyway.

Its just pauses in the game. The framerate isnt dropping nor am I having internet latency. If I die and ghost someone, I see the same thing while still showing 200+ fps. Its not even at one connection either. Im in the Eastern USA right now but I work most of the year in silicon vally (san jose, ca) and have a faster connection even there (50/5mb) and get the exact same thing. This was a sudden start after a patch about 2.5 to 3 months ago. Never happened before th at.

Nope, But i have the same problem... I havent got a clue as to what the F! it is... Tried everything fom mooving cs go folder to reinstalling steam... Nothing works... I have a overpowerd pc for the game, fps doesnt drop below 300 and gameplay is smooth other that for these bs spikes... It doesnt happen when im playing against bots mostly never when I play ordenairy comp, and allways when I play esl or esea matches... Now I think internet has something to do with it but it cant be bandwidth... Since I am in a server right now that is empty and its happening at a steady pace every 2 min or so...

I allso allways get this sound as if I just bought a gun and all dead bodies stand up and fall ragdoll style...

my issue went away about a week or so ago with a patch that steam/CS go released. No other changes to my system.
