cl_interp_ratio 1 causing loss
As the title says, I'm experiencing about 1%-6% packet loss when using cl_interp_ratio 1 and pretty much 0% when using cl_interp_ratio 2. But since using cl_inter_ratio 1 is superior in terms of hit detection, I figured there must be some kind of work around for this issue.

My system runs csgo perfectly fine.
My net settings are rate 128000, cl_cmdrate 128, cl_updaterate 128, cl_interp 0 and cl_interp_ratio 1.
I have a 32k connection which I found to be stable according to several speed tests on several websites, yet the loss issue occurs on almost every (official valve)server.

Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix it?

mmm want to extend that question then

when using 128000 and up 128 cmd 128 interp 1-0
but server runs 64 tick i experience fram lagg on a high end computer running cs go on low spec graphic

so is it even worht using 128000?`
i cannot really tell whats causing the lagg, but concerning package loss, switching the rate doesnt change anything for me
Packet loss is when data from your client does not reach the Server

Choke is when the server is trying to send you data and your down stream is maxed.

update and cmd rate 128, interp 0 (auto detect) even tho its forced in mm and esea
rate 128000 (max possible not how much will go)

if you are getting loss something from your pc is stopping the packet from reaching the server
that or you have isp issues. two things you can try

check add and remove programs for Pando Media Booster, if it is there remove it. it is plague. if it was there test, if it isn't and you do not have alot of pc knoledge / know how for optimizing windows try out game booster from razer, it could be a rougue app in the background stealing
network bandwidth
Don't have pando media booster installed. No other applications running which would use traffic, other than teamspeak, but the loss occurs even when teamspeak is not running. Is missing portforwarding a possibility?

you are correct on the fps drops not the loss, from the recent update its a smoke bug, just gota reopen game after a few pugs.

no background applications that would use networking?, possible router issue then, reboot router test, if same issue, try pingtest.net for fun to see if you are getting any packet loss or more than 10ms jitter, also if rebooting router doesn't help try updating its firmware.

as for port forward causing loss, no.
