Bot defer goals to human ?
so i was playing CSGO with bots in De_dust2 and De_dust...they just great, however there is something bothering me (i often play as terrorist),why i always being the bomb carrier throughout the game? i opened console and type Bot_defer_goals_to_human 1 but nothing happened! still,i'm always being the bomb carrier!

i hope valve updated bot settings via main menu so i can go rushing at CT alone while my teammates concentrated about planting the bomb

oh and one more,a bot quota settings which can be accessed via main menu before the game starts, maybe?

There are two commands that you would want to look at. They are bot_defer_to_human_goals and bot_defer_to_human_items. If bot_defer_to_human_goals is set to 0, then the bots will try to do the objective even if a human player is still alive. If it's set to 1, then if there's a human player still alive, then it's on them to try to do the objective (defuse the bomb or rescue a hostage).

The bot_defer_to_human_items command only matters when you're playing on the Terrorist team on a bomb map. If it's set to 0, then a round can start with a bot having the bomb. If it's set to 1, then a human player will always have the bomb at the start of every round.

Also, if you go into csgo\cfg folder, you will see some files that start with gamemode_ and end with cfg. Those are the files that contain the settings for each gamemode. You may want to look at the casual, competitive, and demolition files. You can open them with Notepad and maximize the screen. Near the top, you will see the bot_defer_to_human_goals and the bot_defer_to_human_items settings. You can change them to whatever you want for each gamemode in each file.

Another thing is that sometimes when we get a CS GO update, those gamemode_(whatever).cfg files are reset back to their defaults. So that means that we have to go back into them and change them back to our liking
