Can I run CS:GO with these requirements?
Hey guys, I have a question, will I be able to run CS:GO for my PC with these specs?:
CPU (and speed): AMD Turion(tm) X2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile ZM-80 2.1 ghz
RAM:3.8 GB
OS:Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition Service Pack 2 (build 6002), 64-bit
Video card:
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics
Free space: 108 GB
Please reply ASAP I am thinking of getting it on Steam but i'm not sure.

No, unfortunately your graphics card wont make it, you need at least an HD 6480G or better

Well, ok. But I was also wondering if my CPU would make it because I heard that cpu was important in Valve games.

Welp, I just check the store page for you, I might have gotten a little confused with another game.

here are the sstem requirements:
OS: Windows® 7/Vista/XP
Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom™ X3 8750 processor or better
Memory: 1GB XP / 2GB Vista
Hard Disk Space: At least 7.6GB of Space
Video Card: Video card must be 256 MB or more and should be a DirectX 9-compatible with support for Pixel Shader 3.0


I went ahead and checked your GPU, which appears to be just enough, with every spec just a little above the minimum requirement. HOWEVER, your CPU won't make it, it is a little bit weaker compared to the minimum requirement. Here are the comparisons of your cpu and the required one.

Okay, thanks! And ONE more little question. :P. If I were to put CS:GO at minimum settings, would it still do horribly bad? :P I don't know much about computers. :P

Oh ya, I was gonna say that, even if you reached the minimum settings....it would probably be the worst experience for you, because what they really mean when they say minimum settings is that: "This game will run, it wont crash your computer, BUT, you are going to get the ABSOLUTE WORST PERFORMANCE."

I ve tried playing some games in muminum required environments...I felt like jumping out my window. D:

And could you recommend any good shooters that I could run? I have $20 in my steam account and I don't know what to get :P.

give counter strike 1.6 a shot, I use to play that, then I transitioned into GO, but 1.6 is still a very good game, the graphics may not be that satisfying but the game its self is def worth the $10.

I asked another person and he said I can run it properly and he said "Your cpu is a dual core so it is sufficient. The video card requirement is a card with atleast 256 MB that supports Direct-X 9, which your card meets." so now i'm confused. :P I dont know who to trust.

your best bet would be to run some tests, if you can somehow get hold of a copy of csgo (disclaimer: I am NOT suggesting you to pirate a single player copy) *wink* try it out.

Well actually, i'll buy it. It could be a waste of money but I'll have money to still but tf2 items :P. Thanks for the help tho! Helped me a lot!
