LOL, they haven't tried it. AND the se maps are fine. You adjust, just like anything in life.
While you maybe right.. don't jump the gun or agree with users on ESEA until you try it.

What Valve does is takes these community made maps, gets the rights to them then just illogically changes aspects of them with absolutely no competitive experience or insight into their development e.g. 1.6 maps redesigned for CS:S...
I wouldn't expect a person like yourself with no competitive Counter-Strike experience to understand this.
