Rank/score reset

This game needs the ability to let you start over. I have had this game a few weeks and pretty much ruined my ranking due to getting stuck on dozens of teams that no speak ingles. SO, when people look at my score when I invite them to actually start a group, they laugh and leave.

Let's not forget that every 3 games, I get stuck playing against top ranked people while i'm on a 3 to 4 silver team.... That is ridiculous. Those games shouldn't be held against a person.

dude i started at silver 1 now im at gold nova 3! i think when u start lower its better as u feel like you have done more than the people that start on these ranks! anyway if you wanna play with a good team of people join pow, awesome gaming community! all the players are good at game and very friendly :D http://steamcommunity.com/groups/PoWxgaming

I'd like a score reset function just to erase my shameful past. I got back into CS after 10 yrs with GO, and casual being a joke jumped right into competitive - now I'm doing good but after so many matches played it's hard to raise my KD above .9

If you lose a game against a high ranked team, it won't take it against you. It accounts for that.

I started in Nova 3, went down to Silver master for bad teams and then up to Nova 2, where I stayed for many time, since then I have been going up until Master Guardian 2, where I stucked last month. So I've climbed a total of 6 ranks. The best you can do is play with a team of people with a similar rank to you, you'll win and enjoy more than with random teams, which can be good, trolls, hackers or noobs

Wouldnt mind a reset. Im at DMG and when i want to play with friends at gold nova ranks its pretty difficult for them.

Reset is bad idea. Very bad idea.

You can change your skill-group without reset as well, and without messing up balance by random assignment.

The problem is play-with-friend in competitive, because it messes up balance. Remove that one, and MM is just fine in assigning ranks.

I'd actually like a reset just because I have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of stats that are extremely high for no reason.

If not a free reset for every one then valve should implement something like a "reset token" 1$ for 1 token for example...
I lost my rank of Guardian 1 back to freaking nova 2 due to getting matched up with people who can't speak english and trolls and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (no offence to anyone)...
