game crash after downloading from workshop

after downloading several maps from the workshop, and when I start the game, the game would indicate *downloading maps from workshop* and after a few seconds, the game crashes.

When the game crashes a steam error message shows up saying the game was already running, and when i click on the given link, i am redirected to the steam support page which wasn't even helpful.

I have stopped all downloads, restarted steam(for the umpteenth time) but still this happens.

i fixed it already, all you have to do is go to ur csgo folder... programe files > steam > steamapps > common > csgo > csgo > maps > workshop... from here u should see folders with alot of numbers... u will have to check each one... open a folder up and see if there is a .bsp file... when u download a map from the workshop, it should consist of 2 picture thumbnails and 1 .bsp file ... if the folder does not have a .bsp file just delete everything and go unsubscribe to the map author u got it from in the steam workshop... do these for all the folders that doesnt have the .bsp file and it should work normally now... this is probably due to incomplete download from the workshop! :D

Thank you for your advise LightZ!
First I tried to do it like your describtion, but if I started CSGO again the "Workshop Downloader" want to download the Workshop elements ( I think it he searches for not existing parts, the .bsp) --> So the game crashes!

Now I've deleted the subscription for each map and have also deleted the workshop folder in CSGO folder...

Now I can play and only download the workshop maps which run!
