FAMAS' Magazine Capacity Needs to be Corrected
I would like make a gripe about the FAMAS in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, specifically about the magazine capacity. You can clearly see in the buying menu and during the in-game reloading sequence it has a STANAG (curved) magazine. This means it should have 30 rounds in the clip, according to World Guns and the Wikipedia page (http://world.guns.ru/assault/fr/famas-e.html). The FAMAS does have a proprietary 25-round clip that was also witnessed in CS 1.6 and CS:S, but this is not the case. When this rifle is purchased it comes with a fully loaded 25 round magazine and 90 extra bullets. This means you can fully reload the weapon three times, but then get left with 15 rounds at the end. Also, as everyone should know, it has an alternate three-round burst fire mode. This means you can fire eight burst shots, but then get left with one last bullet in the clip. What kind of sense does all of this make?! The gun already costs more than the Galil, but this is to be expected since the Counter-Terrorists always spend more money for their weapons. The Galil comes with a 35-round magazine, which is true to real life. Why shouldn't the FAMAS also get this treatment? I already think the gun is not widely used, but is accepted as a budget weapon for the CTs. I don't think it would make the gun unbalanced if it was corrected to hold the capacity of 30 rounds in the magazine. In fact, it would probably prompt a generous amount of people to use the weapon even more in a budget situation. I would like to see what the rest of my fellow CS:GO players think about this potential change. I personally would like Valve to correct this and make the gun more valuable.

Agreed, change the in-game clip, pic, and gun kill symbol or give it the extra 5 rounds.

Yeah. I didn't even mention the fact the kill symbol shows a straight (25-round) magazine. There are obvious inconsistencies in the game when it comes to this weapon. Valve, if you're listening, can you please consider this change?!

/signed. I actually like using the famas but these inconsistencies are kinda sloppy work on the dev's part.

On eco round I mostly buy P90 or MP7 because they have more bullets than Famas. They should definitely add 5 more bullets to Famas. I think that I would start to use Famas all the time. :D

It's the same thing for me. I would rather pay the small extra amount of money for the P90 and have double the ammunition capacity in the magazine. I actually find myself sometimes using the UMP in an eco round because its damage is almost identical to the FAMAS on unarmored enemies. Not to mention, the UMP costs way less than the FAMAS and has the same ammo capacity.

I agree about that it is sort of sloppy work. I'm not a fan of the Battlefield or Call of Duty series, but I know they wouldn't make an error on something as crucial as the firearms. CS:GO doesn't even have nearly the amount of firearms.
