How to voice communicate with my team only?

I wanna use my headset's mic to communicate with my team when I press 'k' but that is heard by the other team also, there must be a way to voice communicate with my team only.

Here are your options.

1: Go to a server that has sv_alltalk set to 0
2: You and your friends need to get a VoIP client. This will allow you to chat outside the game. There's Mumble, Ventrillo, Teamspeak, or Steam Voice Chat.

That's sad. Because from what you're saying, Valve doesn't have a team voice option. That's lame. I don't choose my servers, Valve does. And I don't play with frIends, I try to communicate with my team in whichever server matchmaking puts me in. I can't expect everybody to download TeamSpeak, can I?

Voice chat is team only in competitive classic, while it is to everyone in other game modes. It looks like it's so you can have a friendly chat with the other team during the game. If you want to communicate with your own team, typing with team chat is the only option in game modes other than competitive classic.
