Adding split screen?

Who thinks that Counter strike GO will get split screen on PC soon, now that Big picture is out. It will probably be very easy thing to ad. Besides Portal 2 just added split screen support on PC.

NB: Don't comment and say it will suck and is a stupid thing to ad just because keyboard and mouse are better. I KNOW that, i prefer keyboard and mouse on FPS, 3PS and games like that. But some people have a controller laying around and may want to play it with a friend on TV (maybe dual screen like i have), and it doesn't take anything away from the people that want to play it with keyboard and mouse. Especially if they add an option to only allow controller player on certain servers that have that option turned on.
I think it will be awesome for casual players even if it will only be allowed on certain servers.

I really hope split screen will be implemented in CS:GO. One reason why I love playing BLOPS 2 on the consoles, playing 4 player split screen against bots is a blast. I think they could limit it to offline or LAN mode only, because no one likes split-screen gamers in online which I think its fair because of two reasons: 1. Split screeners always lags in online. 2. Split screeners always lets the team down and ruin the fun for others.

That is why I think it should be limited to offline and LAN only. I would really love to see 4 players split screen on CS:GO playing against bots, I mean many of us have real friends who hangs out with us most of the time and the only thing we get to play are console games like tekken, BLOPS and Halo. Why cant a PC/Mac title do this? I'm sure many of us have a big HDTV in our homes and extra controllers.

On PC? I dont know but on consols it should be cool, I have it on PC and want to see how it will look like.

Why not on PC? why not put in console futures if it is optional? I get it that most people only game on the PC screen, but a lot of PC gamers now days, have the PC connected to a tv (like me). It would at least be cool on lan and offline multiplayer (mabye some online servers too). It sucks that you can have split screen on cod on consoles, but not on PC, why not leave the future in, even tho only some people will play it?
I get that it often lag when you play online split screen, so it whould only be allowed on special servers.
I bet that it will newer come to GO, but it should at least be in the next one. :-)

Yust because it is mostly a game for "hardcore" gamers, dosen't mean that people dont want to have casual fun once in a while. Shame on developers that thinks PC gamers are only hardcore nolifers with no friends in RL, and therfor dont put offline multiplayer and split screen in.

Ok, I my computer is connected to a TV but im saying that you need XBOX controles right.... I DONT HAVE ANY. I have a PS3, if it will work with that 2 then no problome.

Ever heard of ebay? You could get Xbox controllers for a low price and, its not that hard to get either. Also, you could get the PS3 controllers to work too. Just search for PS3 drivers and edit the controller cfg file to match the PS3 controller button inputs.


Seriously guys, just because you dont have real friends to play with doesn't mean that we dont too, the whole world doesn't work like your neighbours you know. We just want our friends and family members to join our game, most specifically, offline game. I just want to share my experience with them and simply have a good time with my friends and family without buying 6 PCs and 6 copies. If consoles can do it then why cant the PC handle it?

I think splitscreeen would be great. Now that they added Deathmatch for training, I can start playing with my wife on my 55". Right now we just take turns with the Dualshock but splitscreen would make things more interesting.

For casual games, community matches, etc., okay.
For competetive, nope.
I for my part won't use it though. I prefer it when my friends are coming over and take their pcs with them.
