Question about changing language

In the past I haven't had a problem changing languages on Steam games; I go into the game settings from the library, change the language, and let the file download. However, this doesn't work for CS GO. I changed the language to Russian, exited, and... no new files downloaded. I went into settings again and chose "Verify Cache", but again, it doesn't download any files.

Am I missing something? :| Previous CS games didn't have this problem (like I said, they'd just switch to the right language).

I looked at that but it looks like it only changes the Steam language and not the game language specifically. Or does it change both?

It changed both for me. Or atleast the language in cs:go. And in a worst case scenario it's just to change back to what it said before in the regedit part.

This works:
goto Steam -> Library -> CS:GO -> Properties -> Starting Parameters. Add this:

-language English

RU would be for russian language, I don't know about others, though.

You can right click the game. Hit Properties and go to the Language tab

I tried that but it didn't completely convert it, Hash. That works for most other games. L4D2's language settings are also kinda wonky.

Portuguese - PT
