Do you get banned for testing cheats offline with bots?

Title says it, I'm curious about what a cheater with aimbot and wallhack sees, will I get banned if I use cheats in offline with bots?

P.D I'm not a cheater and I dont have the purpose of using cheats, I'm just curious

I really have no idea. Personally, I would not try this. I would not even dare to go to download sites for cheats on my game rig or any computer that has steam installed :-)

If you look around, you can find screenshots though of the things that cheaters see.

If you're using hacks that you've downloaded, then yes you can be banned if caught.

I'm sure you could enable sv_cheats in a server with bots and use the built in wallhack, god mode and the others without problems.

You might have noticed "bust movies" using the source wallhack to prove if a player has been hacking or not.

you can use hacks on non VAC secured servers without getting banned. If you are on a VAC secured server, don't have the hack running.

the risk would be any residual script that is running once you think a hack is closed, etc. You could get VAC banned if you are on a secured server and VAC detects a hack program that you are not using.

for your experiments, I would just use youtube. A lot of us know exactly what they see without ever looking into how to acquire hacks even.

It depends on cheat my friend uses wallhack for month still not banned im also really pissed off and want to use cheats because almost everytime there's some cheater but its just not my style going to mirc probably.....

Cheating because others cheat is extremely dumb. Makes you a dirty cheat like any other cheater.

Having friends who cheat and call them friends.. makes you quite pathetic btw. It says a lot about somebody's personality.

VAC is a delayed ban system it maximises the number of people caught by not banning straight away otherwise cheat authors would simply updae their cheats accordingly. so your mate might get away with it now but in a month or so the story might be very different. just do not do it. i admined on X-Ray Gaming Anti Cheat and heard every excuse under the sun. cheats will get caught one day. And anyone that pays for subscription cheats is only cheating themeselves.

sv_cheats 1 won't get you banned but I wouldn't try installing wallhacks and trying your luck. It is still a mainly multiplayer game and I don't think VAC will like it. Maybe the bots will report you :O

so few understand this. it would be so easy to make undetectable cheats if they got banned right away when detected.

This is getting pretty sad now.

People caught cheating even with demos uploaded on the forums and YT still aren't banned 2 months later.

I want be associated with people who do not leave a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ match and they have their reasons to use cheats its still nice they trust me enough to reveal that they use it but i didnt mentioned that i like to pla with a cheater in my team i only said that he's not banned for month or so
