Is a mouse pad improtant to cs?

I have been using a http://www.staples.com/Artistic-Rhinolin-Writing-Surface-Desk-Pad-Black-20-inch-x-36-inch/product_191791 and it seams to work well as a mouse pad. But if I were to to get a mouse pad from razor, ect, would I see a differance in my gaming? P.S. I use low sesitivity and a optical lazer gaming mouse.

Dont buy Razor, buy SteelSeries, its cheeper and bigger.

I use steelseries with a razor deathadder. Steelseres is very good and cheep :D

you want to go with a mousepad that offers Control, cs is all about precision, softmats are great for this

forgot to mention that changing mouse/mouse pads typically take a while to get use to

I really recommend the steelseries Qck+ mats. Having all that extra room is very helpful

I just play on the table surface and it works very well.
I am gold nova 2 if that helps. Not much but okay.

If you want to become a pro, maybe you need a professional mousepad then.

important like: mouse and headset

some players use the surface of their tables, but imao a pad is more accurate and usually dont cost more than 10 bucks. btw: im using 2 different pads (one textile and one plastics)

It's not a must have, except if you want to be professional, otherwise I myself played without, later I bought new stuff : kb/mouse + mousepad and it didn't turn me better, just more consistent :). Otherwise you can play with very poor stuff and still own everyone, this game is more about how you use your brain and how you master weapon.

I hear that 120 hz monitor is the thing to buy for fps games. 120hz monitor gives you 120 fps ingame, it improoves your reacion time 2x. Its really the thing to buy if you want to be better.

Nah man. If you have a good gamer mouse, on the bottom of it is 3 plastic things. If you use it on hard surface it ♥♥♥♥♥ up faster and it requirers more force to move it. With a soft mouse pad it help to keep the slippery plastic on your mouse.

You guys are all lame. I play with some 8 to 10 years old Typhoon 5.1 Speakers and this black Genius NetScroll 120 mouse or whatever, with a wooden desk, no mousepad, on a desktop with a 1440x900 monitor. My headphones are completely destroyed and only it's microphone works.

Truely, I'm the most hardcore CS:GO player on the planet.

(just kidding... but the setup part is true)
