Never saw a "real" competitive match with any weapon restriction... so in which league do you have only 1 awp?
I agree you pls valve do something
I probably did not express it correctly. The teams are mostly "built" so that one person takes the role of the sniper (with AWP), thus you don't see 2 AWPs in one team. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I didn't mean a rule or similar.
However, it still means that in basically all the games (at least from what I've seen) have one AWP per team, therefore, if non-team people play solo competitive, they still should have the same "feel" of playing a competitive match.
@Mikesch, there's a lot of good teams around that play 2 AWPs...mostly on CT side though. I think you should have the choice.
The problem is that the AWP is overpoered even in CQB. In dust 2 for instance, i met a guy in an alley, shot him about 3 times, kept myself moving and he aimed and shooted so fast that I couldn't even stand a chance. They should nerf the time to scope and the acuracy if you do quick scope.
But I started to get anoyed to always being killed by one shots sudenly, then I started using awp and killed twice more than I did... I'm not skillfull or THAT good, but even so, this weapon is so overpowered that I got bored of so much using it
