Tired of cheaters - it's time they listened to us

I think we should unite as a community and rate everyone with a 1 star and post every day. The game is so broken that there is at least 1 cheater per game, it's impossible, and on top of that they don't even hide it anymore, they run around shamelessly killing everything.

Its to complicated for them to stop cheaters because the ppl enjoy playing with cheats and they pay every month their cheats.

Imagine stoping the drug dealers, why they cant stop drug dealers? because there is demand, its the ppl fault, its not just valve fault.

What valve should do is to re-think the matchmaking.

Half the time the anti cheats block the linux users aswell for some reason which would prevent me from playing the game on arch but yeah i wish they fixed this cheating issue

best solution, if we are to be realistic about this, would be a change in privacy rules & doxing cheaters whenever caught in a list of known cheaters. - that would allow to attack the source of the problem (the cheater) bypassing need for racing against cheat programmers...
Little Johnny would think twice before having his face and name stamped on a public website exposing what he did in a video game.

Thing is that we have laws enforcing internet anonymity, and that's the main cause of every online issue we have since the Internet was made public.

PS: Btw the doxing wouldn't be for "revenge" but rather to easily recognize recurring offenders, and block them from playing in legit lobbies... And funnily enough, that would also prevent smurfing & account stealing frauds on platforms such as Steam, because you have your face stamped, ID and you can't make "extra" accounts.

I have attempted to play 5 rated games in the last 2 weeks, 4 of these matches were canceled by VAC Live after a player started shooting other players heads through walls. The 5th match was canceled by a player getting VAC banned. It seems there are more encounters with cheaters since a player I was queued with got VAC live punished, it gave me a 20 hour cooldown for playing with them, my matches before that were very normal with extremely few encounters with undeniable cheaters.
I believe the system is working pretty well based on what I've been seeing. Are you sure the player(s) you are complaining about are actually cheating? Not to be insulting but a lot of people call cheats when they are doing poorly or lack understanding of the situation.
If you are encountering a lot of cheaters, it may be time to reflect on your own behavior and actions and those of your party as well. Are you and your party following the fair play guidelines and online conduct rules at all times?

Stop buying skins in protest and they would fix it. Otherwise they don't care. Have you ever seen a Dev post here? This is so players can complain and Valve does not care as long as you gamble on cases and buy skins.
