This whole thread is about inspecting a gun from 1st person view, just like you would see it if you were in a game and holding it.

That's how you will see the gun when inspected in frst person. On all my guns with ware or veriable patterns it's the same exact look. Same ware, same patterns, same everything.
Will it give you a better idea about how the item and the scratches on it actually look in game? Yes.
I dont see a problem here, it should be implemented in the game soon, it's just a nice addition.
People who trade a lot would definitely appreciate this feature
They don't implement it because it's not vital. It's the same reason why they haven't fixed the issue with the scope not being skinned for the SSG 08. They have more important things to implement.
