Host a matchmaking server
I noticed that when in a matchmaking server, it says "Server Provided by XXX"
Does anybody know how I could go about hosting one of the matchmaking servers?

I work for a webhosting company and I think hosting a CS:GO matchmaking server would be a great way to get our feet wet in the game hosting business, and contribute to the community

Bandwidth and hardware aren't an issue, it will be located in our datacenter.

Ideas? Is this something Valve needs to personally approve?

You can either host a lot of Community servers that people play on through e.g. the Server Browser or QuickPlay.

Or you can contact Valve and offer your hosting services and they might supply you the Official MatchMaking Server software and make a deal.
How would I go about contacting Valve for this..?

Ask them if they need any hosting capacity / additional hw for their official servers.

Or find out who is participating in CSGO development and send an e-mail here: http://www.valvesoftware.com/email.php
