cl_bob cl_bobcycle ect.. Stock Values anyone?

So some bloody genius on a forum somewhere on the interwebskis was posting about how to tweak cs:go for better performance/gameplay ect ect ect. Im like iiiiight, Its not a config, its just a few commands lets give it a try. (guess this dipwad didnt know that tick and such gets auto changed now) And had me change all sorts of ♥♥♥♥. Pretty sure theres like 5 or 6 cl_bob commands that he was using from CSS, so even after freshly reinstalling and such, I still beleive it looks a little strange when I walk around. Cant find the stok values anywhere on the internet, so is it allready set to stock and I'm trippin or would anybody be so kind as to post the stock values.

P.S. Does playing on a lower resoultion really improve fps?

Can't find those default values but reinstalling CSGO should have fixed that issue. You aren't using an autoexec are you?

As far as improving fps... lowering res might help but you would want to lower your advanced video settings to get better fps and turn off vsync on your graphics card settings.

Just delete your config.cfg and any cvar changing values in your autoexec.cfg if any. Start the game and then reset your controls.

I don't know the default values for those commands since I use a custom value myself.

No reinstalling seemed to keep it the same. It always keeps my resolution and advanced video settings and keybindings the same when I reinstall. (adv vid settings are lowest, jump is mwheel down ect..) I dont beleive I am using an autoexec, I have never used one to my knowledge and I never use configs.

So delete config.cfg AND autoexec? or just the one?

Well you shouldn't need to delete your autoexec.cfg. You only need to look through it IF you have added any lines to it that someone may have suggested you use that will modify your settings everytime you turn on the game. If you haven't added anything to it then you don't need to worry.

Just delete the config.cfg, launch the game and a new one will be created. Then rebind your keys to your preferrence and all the old settings should be gone.

This sounds better. I was thinking of config.cfg but typed out autoexec instead. Sorry dude haha.

Noob,
In CS:GO you cant put custom commands into your main CFG File
You have to make a text file, and name it, autoexec.cfg
and every time you start up CSGO, type in, exec autoexec into your command console

Maybe I should change my cl_bobcycle to 0?

That's weird, I've never changed mine but when I enter the commands the default values listed by console are different. It says the commands are related to the first person weapon model moving around, so maybe it's related to the viewmodel position option (couch / desktop / classic).

I simply typed cl_bob in the console and listed everything that automatically popped up.

Put
host_writeconfig
into the end of your autoexec.cfg, so when you type exec autoexec into the console, it will confirm that the commands have been entered into the game
