How can I volume down music only in main menu?!
When the user is booting up title, the Valve starting video is played. However, this video is much much quiter than music in main menu. I almost jump in place when I start CS:GO on headphones...
Please can Valve volumes up thier Valve starting vid or volume down main menu music?

Go into Options > Audio Settings then lower the "Music" option. This will lower the sound in the menu and will also reduce some annoying sounds in game (such as the bomb planted or nearly time up (not the beep) and round start music).

Lower it a bit more, it should'nt still be loud. I changed mine to below 1 and the sound in the menu is much more quieter.

Why on earth would you want to remove the sound for the bomb being planted...

Read my post carefully, it excludes the beep. This means that when someone plants the bomb it'll still beep and when someone defuses it you can still hear it. It reduces the dramatic theme song when a bomb is planted, when the round is nearly over, on round start, etc, so it'll actually be better to lower this.

Tommy, thread was not about this.

What is with people's ability to read and understand plain English on this forum? If you read all the posts carefully, you would of have seen that the thread creator asked to reduce the main menu volume, I gave him a solution and told him what other things it'd change and another member asked why you would want to reduce other sounds and I explained to him that he misunderstood me. Please fully understand the situation before you assume things.
And your advice was wrong[en.wiktionary.org].

Then explain what was wrong? I don't see you giving solutions or positive input, you're only coming up with false assumptions due to your lack of ability to read plain English. How about you stop playing your game and only checking on the forum to pass time when you get killed? My solution, not "advice" that was given is right and I've tested it and it does lower the main menu sound

Well, Hipster have some right- I asked is there any possibility to volume down ONLY in main menu, not in the whole game. :zombiehead:

The music option will reduce the main menu sound and it won't reduce the whole game. It will onl remove those dramatic songs which everyone hates. You'll notice it's much better with the music option down because you can hear the bomb beeps and defuses more easily.

Tommy is right, the only thing it dosen't turn down is the valve sound when you first launch.

Oh and don't agrue with that other kid, he trolls here often, and is quite subtle when doing so.
