Grenade Impact Damage: Realism Tweak for Helmetless Players
"I have a suggestion to make CS2 physics more realistic without breaking the game's balance.
The Idea:
Currently, a grenade hitting your head deals only 1-2 HP. I think this should depend on whether you are wearing a Helmet:
With Helmet: Keeps the current 1-2 HP (The helmet protects you).
WITHOUT Helmet: Deals 50-60 HP damage (depending on the height/velocity of the throw).
Why add this?
Realism: A heavy metal/plastic grenade falling from the sky should cause serious injury to a bare head.
High Risk/Low Reward: It's extremely hard to hit someone's head with a utility (99% luck). This won't replace guns or become a "new meta."
Economic Impact: It adds a logical punishment for being greedy and skipping the helmet on CT side or eco rounds.
It would lead to some hilarious and legendary moments in pro matches when someone gets "bonked" to death.
What do you think? Should Valve add this realistic touch?"
