either way It seems like there has to be a small adjustment but somehow I still can't figure out how to solve it.
Any solutions on this topic yet?
sfc /scannow then go to your hard drive in clicking This PC icon from there right click your pc hard drive and select properties. click on disc cleanup and select temp internet files DirectX shader cache Temp files and click ok, restart your pc. theen go to steam and select the game files to check the game cache file after you reboot.
people never include most important information that is needed to analyze the issue, such as:
is it always like this?
when did it start?
how to reproduce it?
how hot does your GPU get?
do you have any overlay programs running?
i've seen similar things happen due minimizing the game, faulty GPU or GPU getting too hot. GPU issues are very common on laptops as they get extremely hot .. specially when people keep running unlocked fps and frying their GPU.
could also be corrupt directx, try running it with vulkan. if it doesn't happen on vulkan, then obviously it's dx issue (or other way around if you're using vulkan).
it is always like that, as op describes
it started right after starting the game
how to reproduce it i cant tell because i didnt produce it in the first place
gpu stays at normal heat
no overlay programs
tested around in these past hours and noticed that the problem is fixed by setting r_indirectlighting to false. there seems to be an issue for some with compiling/rendering indirect lighting. in public lobbies this adjustment cant be made via console or graphics settings as it requires sv_cheats 1
