What is prime?
im kinda confused on what exactly prime is. Is it a one time purchase and i keep reaping the benefits through time or is it like a loot box? they seem oddly vague about it on the shop so i thought id ask here.
basically, what is prime and is it worth it for someone who just likes to goof off in this silly hacker filled game every 2-3 days or so:Wut_Leeches:

The big difference is, you're not playing with free to plays, so you're not playing with throwaway accounts used to cheat, so you're playing with people using paid cheats instead

PRIME is a one-time purchase which makes you a VIP player instead of a free-player.

You get weekly drops, better gaming queue, as you will play with other prime players and it's totally worth it.

Get prime!

It's only worth if you're gonna play a lot, if you're a casual player free to play is fine, you will still find cheaters, less often of course, but drops aren't worth it, and they require grinding as well, so if you really enjoy the game and play a lot go ahead

well, 2 weeks ago I got a CSGO case, which I sold for 98$. For me, prime is totally worth it.
You can look at my inventory, that's just what I use now, I also have a private container for rare items.

I've been making bank with prime and it's a huge miss to play as a free player, even as a random casual and not a dedicated CS2 player.

How often you or any other player get rare drops? Because you know the case can't be 98$ if everyone gets one, you're lucky if you get a rare drop once a year...

Prime is a status that in theory should isolate cheaters from matches, give you weekly drops and a yearly service medal once you reach level 40.

In your case definitely not worth it. Prime is infested with cheaters as well since Valve gave in for free back in 2018 so it won't make any difference for you.

Prime is clean, no one cheats on prime, only non prime has cheaters, stop spreading misinformation.

Yes, prime is worth it, we prime players enjoy weekly drops, clean matchmaking system provided by the devs.😊👍

can i still play in the normal matchmaking queue? it would be a shame to not be able to play with my fellow noobies. :auyay:

no, unless you join a non prime player(friend) in your lobby before matchmaking

you’ll be matched with 2,000+ hour CS2 pros who’ll destroy you, along with 10,000+ hours Russian and Chinese 'ultra gods'—the ones who can fly, see through walls, and end you right as the round starts.

well, sounds like it's not for me then. it'd be cool to get "drops" or whatever but not being able to play with my fellow rando noobs kinda defeats the point for me, thanks f'r the info. :btd6thumbsup:
