Second Monitor Stuttering when my CS2 is in fullscreen mode

I have a primary monitor running at 144Hz and a secondary monitor at 75Hz.

When I play CS2 in fullscreen mode on the primary monitor, the secondary monitor stutters, and I notice lag in YouTube videos or Twitch streams. I’ve tried different fullscreen aspect ratios (16:9, 16:10, and 4:3), but the issue persists.

Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this?

Try switching to Fullscreen Windowed Mode and disable XMP. Try changing the performance mode to best performance in Windows Settings. Also in your graphics control panel, to maximum performance if using NVIDIA.

i watched ohne pixel's last steam for a few minutes and he said he had an issue like this between a 144 and 244 monitor. i didnt watch the full thing but hopefully its the right direction. Maybe that helps, hope it does

All right I found out the culprit. I tickedd "disable full screen optimizations" on CS2.exe in the compatibility tab to be able to display AMD adrenalin OSD in game before. That was causing the videos/twitch/yt stuttering when playing cs2 in full screen. So I have it unticked now. Problem solved.

Solution is to click the disable fullscreen optimizations on CS2.exe (right click CS2.exe - Compatibility and you will see the little box with the fullscreen optimizations option)
