Why is the game still broken 1 year into CS2?
I have upgraded my pc with 7900xt with 7600x3d (500 fps on average) and I have dedicated the whole pc for CS2 with no web browsing and no additional programs to keep the windows as clean as possible and the game is still lagging like hell with insane fps drops, with me dying behind corners due to high ms etc...
It's just insane how pathetic this is, the devs has added tons of flower pots to push down fps and even people with 4090 complaining about fps drops/laggspikes.
It's pathedic that we cant even have a clean game that lets you spray down a full 5 man rush without your AK shooting in slow motion, just pathedic...

Valve is stuck between a rock and hard place; their ambitions and their abilities.

They need to take their fingers out of their 4ss and make the game playable again! :steamfacepalm:
Remove all the flower pots and even old hardware can play again with 240 hz monitor.

are you on fibre ethernet? packetloss is the issue with the lagspikes. CS2 is worse than CSGO was for that but your ISP is the biggest player in that.
7800X3D with 4070 and the game runs smooth on high settings at 1080p.

something is wrong, perhaps with drivers since your Windows installation is otherwise clean.

I'm on almost the same hardware — Ryzen 7 7800X3D + RTX 4080 Super and I experience no performance problems at all (by the way didn't have stutters or lag spikes or anything on Xeon E3-1270v2 + GTX 1070 + 16 GB DDR3 @ 1333 MHz too, just had lower fps obviously)

you might want to try contacting Steam Support using your Steam client, check that box which allows them to see your system information so that they can maybe have a better idea of what's going wrong for you.
