Yes, select center dot yes setting and play with the gap/length/thickness until you like it.
Lately I've seen many using a small black dot.

well for example you can activate the center dot and make the gap ridiculously big so that the rest of the crosshair is off-screen

cl_crosshair_dot true
cl_crosshair_gap 9999
