I hate this prediction nonsense

In cs:go, we would get instant feedback, no strings attached.
In cs2, to have the same feedback, you need to use a prediction gimmick.
Some semi-pro streamers will even shame you for being awful at the game if you don't use the gimmick feature.
However, I really can't stand triple dinking a guy with an ak47, just to be informed later on by the game that I did 0 damage to them. So obviously I don't use this awful system.
Having this system enabled puts players at a competitive advantage when it works, and at a disadvantage when it doesn't. It can even make you provide fake information to your team! The guy wasn't low, my man!
It's so annoying, and goes completely against the philosophy of "what you see is what you get," because you quite literally do not.
I genuinely don't care about the made-up cheating issue, but the fact that the game constantly goes against it's own core principles, and what made the previous entries in the franchise the go-to e-sports FPS games, is just disrespectful.

Valve, please fix this.
