Why is it so hard to detect cheaters?
New account, zero real value, 100h.

Like, its not even hard to detect.

Why is it so hard to stop looking for excuses for being bad at game?

because you don't have simple validations like in an mmo game. like in an mmo you can simple validate everything. position of the players, enemies etc. but how do you validate aim? the cheat "aimbot" makes the exact same as the mouse input device. so how should a server validate it? not possible.
Better, if they blocking clean players, who have 2k+ hours and 10+ years playing experience...
Today i get ban without reasons, but they dont blocking who hard cheating in my last games as opponents

Software identity is a central question of general-purpose computing, it's analogous to the Turing Halting problem. It's adversarial as well because the more feasible it is to understand their detection mechanism, the more feasible it is to circumvent it.

So in short, it actually is hard to detect.

You got valid point but there is mathematical calculation on how good you can humanly be

theoretically there is a mathematical calculation but at the same time a good aimbot specially silent aim will bypass any mathematically calculations. i mean, valve has tons of data (big data) to analyse and to test dozen of different algorithms but since yet there was not a 100% solution to auto ban aimbots.

and this means player is cheating? what kind of logic is that ... according to that, new players should not even exist. how you expect someone to start playing then?

reason why it's hard to detect cheats, is because cheats are designed to be undetectable.
such as read-only wallhacks and external radars. they dont make any changes to game code, therefore it cannot be detected.

there are also network-based wallhacks, which could be ran on a different computer and therefore it can never be detected by any kind of anti-cheat. its just not possible.
overwatch is only way to detect if someone is cheating.

Valve didnt want to root kit, like riot with valorant. Personally i think that approach is an invasive dangerous thing but valve clearly loves their steam client webhelper bs (to sell games).. they should upon opening remove external and internal influences to the game.

Probably because not every low hour account with little profile content is always a cheater.

It's easier to detect cheats (even the "undetectable ones", which don't exist), because if someone who is well versed on how the game should play out with clean players, they will spot something fishy. They won't say anything but they'll keep watching that player. That's how you detect cheaters

And it is really easy. Sometimes you can see them in just a few rounds as well.

That's when you look at their profile to confirm that it is new, or possibly a bought account.

Making a new account doesnt require any cheats.

you cant just ban people because they have a new account, could might aswell be smurfing. The cheats are so well made so it's very hard for a program to detect aimbot from real aiming.

He seems to be right. Cheating doesnt really seem to be a problem for you.
