Does valve even ban players in cs2?

I swear to god there is so many cheaters its not even funny. CS1.6 where you can get nonsteam version has less cheaters.

pretty much no anti cheat and most of the top players are cheating, I always fall into games against premades with 16-20k rating cheating their ass off

i still dont get what you all complaining about ... i rarely see cheaters.
you talking casual or something?
i play premier and competitive, i see maybe 1 cheater per 8 hours gaming session.
no idea where you coming up with "full of cheaters".

sounds like skill issue.
90% of players below 5000 rating have no clue what they are doing, they might have decent aim, but they step like elephants .. get prefired and then call it cheats.
also most players dont understand that there are other sounds than just footsteps, such as scope zoom, reloading, dropping / picking up the bomb and hostage breathing.

other issue is that 99% of players don't know what minimap is or how it works, so they never look on it. bomb and enemies show up on minimap as soon as ally spots them, no comms needed.
just now the match i'm in, they have no idea what minimap is ... i got bomber down and guarding bomb, but those noobs still sitting on wrong site ... just FACEPALM 100x.

another thing that most players fail to understand, is that you actually have player model, that is bigger than you think. in certain places your gun sticks thru corners and enemies can see it, they jump and prefire you. seen many newbies call cheats cuz someone jumps them in a good hiding place .. even tho their gun sticks out.

..and those who play with music .. well yeah, they will never be out of 4000 range and they will forever be calling cheats.

those are the kind of players who call cheats, it's just their own incompetence. they dont understand how game works.

Totally agree, some players have a hard time spotting cheaters. And some think they only meet one every 8 hours, funny how incompetent and skill less people can be..

i sit and laugh on experts who argue here and can't check the cheating info themselves. hundreds of thousands of downloads of public free cheats each day... not going to mention record high numbers for paid software (measured with simultaneous users). those insane amounts make me sure that every game there is a bunch of legitcheaters and that's why you quit it.

Anti cheater is working perfectly, it is banning legitimate players who receive daily reports of teams using cheaters, Anti cheater is in full swing working perfectly to ban innocent people from the game. Kids love checking the reporting box, enemy teams are reporting for no reason. A lot of people being banned for no reason.

Oh they know it. That's why they spend this much time pretending the opposite here. They enjoy it. They think they found an exploit that no one knows about... It is just that Valve couldn't care less

Played 4 game yesterday. 3 of the games had a cheater. 1 game got suspended by VAc live. They do ban but only if someone useing some old cheat probably.
