Mute button doesn't work

Your mute button in CS2 doesn't work. Fix it, right now, immediately.
Today a guy come in, and he fart in the voice chat, fart fart fart, and he talk dirty in voice chat: Anyone want to lick my ass, it smell so good, come on guys, come lick my ass......
I tab, right click his name, click the volume button to mute him, it doesn't work
so the whole game I have to hear him fart, fart, fart and hear him keep inviting everyone come lick his ass, it smell good, his ass smell delicious, his ass is the best......
You fix the mute chat & voice chat button right now please

But to be serious, that is one known bug right now as I encountered muting failure in the game earlier. Bunch of guys trying to sound...well, they just kept talking ♥♥♥♥, not just every round or whatever, but they just spammed the mic and I wasn't even involved, but two players were just non stop "bro arguing"

I need to describe the terrible annoying dirty situation that I have to take the whole gameplay for them. So they need to fix it immediately. It was terrible that players exploited the bug and make opponents rage quit just by communicating. I played the game and my mind can't escape some guy ass, I got my mind shattered, you know...

Instead of muting, just set his voice to zero. Should help.

Have had it happen a few times and it's even worse when the person who is mic spamming awful music as loud as he can is the one I can't mute.

report the person for communication abuse and it will auto mute the person. (I tried it myself)

(only do that if the person is actually truly spamming,

There is workaround. Report him for verval abuse. It also mutes person completely. Works fine for me.

It doesn't work, even if I reported him. I reported him already, still cannot mute him.
