Is half the player base cheating its ass off?

Maybe I'm just getting too old for this ♥♥♥♥, but people have precision and reaction times in this game, despite the guns kicking like a horse... it's far more extreme than in CSGO. Way too many people precisely prefiring instantly, you can't tell me that like half the player base isn't running wallhacks and aim assists. Man, I miss CSGO. The decision to just overwrite it with an inferior game with less content was just stupid. Should have been a separate release, at the very least until it was on par with content and cheat protection. I want the demolition mode and its maps back. And arms race sucks with only 2 maps, which btw are way too open. Permanently like 5 open flanks at every given spot in the map, it's downright bs.

Neon, its not more then 1-40 games. its far far worse. I play around the 20-22k mark and premier and its absolutely disgusting. Idc what valve or vac says. go look on youtube and see. theres a ton of videos on the cheating epidemic and how bad it is. even youtubers interviewing cheaters describing how they get around vac and they believe it does nothing against your closet cheaters. just the blatant ones that trigger it. i had 17 cheaters Vac banned in csgo in 60 days and in cs2 there has been zero! that doesnt mean its doing a good job. that means its not doing its job at all. Cheaters have gotten progessively worse and there are no bans.

there is 0 bans because there are no cheaters. as simple as that. VAC is effective at what it is doing - protecting players from cheaters!

you are the one who is naive... if having 1 cheater in 40 games is bad to you then you are delusional. VAC was in makings for the past 7 years. the result - almost no cheaters in my games at all

You take a number that is 3 years old. For a different game. VAC net's machine learning was trained on CS:GO gameplay and visuals, it had hundrets of thousands of matches as training data. CS2 is a new game with a new engine and different visuals. The machine learning will need months to get better.

And your cheater buddy who got caught is ONE person you know. It's an irrelevant sample size to judge the situation by. He bought a cheat that was most likely already known by VAC and thus got caught. There will be a lot of modified, yet unknown cheats and hardware cheats out there that won't get caught instantly.

i take a 3 year old number, nowadays it only gets better with all the upgrades that VAC and its subsystems receive

Guys, you most likely play ranked. And people will be more hesitant to cheat on ranked than in casual. And trust factor is also a thing there. That is why you see fewer cheaters than I. Just play some evenings of arms race and casual and then tell me that there aren't like always 2-3 sus guys with inhuman reaction times after peeking, knowledge of player positions and highly unlikely precision. And many of them with russian names.
Do you really think that russian players give a ♥♥♥♥ about a free game that they just create a new steam account for, when they get caught?

Another factor why you may see less cheaters than I is, that you possibly are american and have less russian player population. I am in Germany here, and there are lots of (most likely cheating) russian players in the (again, casual) matches I get thrown into.
It may very well be that VAC has the american servers under decent control, but here in europe, the situation is unbearable in my opinion. And I have more than 1300 hours of CSGO for comparison.

last time i played premier i had 25k... and guess what. any cheater i had got banned mid game. there is no cheating problem you can stop already. i have green trust factor and VAC is disabled for red trust factor. as simple as that

After all, if you got friends who cheat, it's not unlikely that some temptation and information about that might spill over to you. ;)

NO anti cheat works as good as you believe or tell about VAC. Even the most modern and deeply integrated ones like Valorant's have been cracked by cheat makers. There will always be working cheats that are ahead of any anticheat solution. And players who don't care and use those. That battle can not be won, since cheats and their countermeasures evolve and outsmart each other and the anticheats will always be in the position of catching up. And CS2 currently does not enough. "As simple as that." :P

if you have red trust and talk about cheaters, then we have nothing in common. you can end your speech right there. throughout 4k hours i got to experience the rise of VAC. it is so effective nowadays that you don't get to play even a 1 full game with cheats, and around 3 at worst
