Can i get banned from VAC by using VPN ?

i wanted to play CS2 without lagging / high ping or packet loss. I'm using mobile data + hotspot for my laptop to play CS2 , but thinking of using VPN + wifi (education wifi blocked). Hence, is it safe for me just to use VPN ? I scare my account get banned without any reason..

Special mention: not intend to change the file content at all, just hope for better internet.

No, only by steam probably cuz steam doesn't allow the use of VPN.

steam allow the use of vpn i used one for 2 years the only thing it was just putting me foreign severs where no one spoke English.

I heard there is cases of steam account region unable to changed back to it real country. Wonder that is cause by VPN or not....

Don’t use a vpn to buy games from a different region that’s not allowed but playing games through a vpn is perfectly fine

No you won't get a vac ban by using a VPN.

Do not use a VPN to change your region when buying things off the store though. This is against steams TOS and can get your account restricted or even terminated.

So... can I use VPN to get a free game that is unawelable in my country? Everyone says that buying games with VPN is forbidden but what about getting f2p games?
