How do you get a low trust factor?
By not buying stuff? by being reported lots of times, with no result? by reporting many people with no results? by writing or saying bad stuff?

I dont know if I have one. I assume so, since people in my lobbies are playing very very sus half of the time.

I'm pretty sure you can get one for receiving too many reports for cheating, I've had this suspicion for some time. I play really well on Dust2 (only map I'm good at) and get called cheater all the time, I've been reported to the moon and back for years now. I face actual cheaters all the time these days, almost every match now because of so. I see them on my team sometimes as well.

Same here once I got the mechanics down of csgo and all the lineups and made it to global twice. I’ve got to red a few times but got out atleast 6-7 times, inguess no point of playing good. Im finally back to green trust for the tenth time I think in 3 years it is th worst thing I think valve go is into. Faceit was my only grace to play during those times in red. And I now continue to play on faceit, and believe it or not faceit has made me such a better player than MM and aim training. Aver will.
Faceit games I can tell are super clean and very fun ! Mm is no dif still sus players left and right .

What you mean everyone doesnt play like a god in this game?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rp7Kwn3_0Pw

Im not claiming this guy is hacking, without demos its really hard to tell. It could have just been a super, super lucky shot.

But 95% of my deaths in matchmaking are like this, dont expect me to believe that a majority of players are really this good. Its either people cheating, or the game is broke.

This is a silver 1 match btw.

where can you even see your trust factor? i keep hearing people talk about it, but i haven't seen any proof that such system even exists.

if valve has indeed implemented such system, they should show your trust factor publicly.
if it exists, then everyone starts at bottom for sure, because i stopped playing csgo in 2016 due VAC error, i was LEM rank.
i started playing cs2 about 3 weeks ago or so and 7/10 matches i get useless toxic teams who blame their incompetence on others. they usually focus their anger on single person, like if i'm last one alive and miss one shot, then they get triggered and throw their hate at you .. vote kick attempts, reporting, team attacking ..etc.
sometimes it changes if they see someone else last alive who can't clutch it, then they try to kick that person.

i assume such behavior players are at bottom of trust factor. or maybe i'm just super unlucky (wouldn't surprise me, i'm usually unlucky in life).

Low trust factor lobbies consist of people that ragequit a lot and teamkill, yes. But also cheaters.

Trust factor works by using a neural network that is trained to estimate whether someone is likely to be banned based on their interactions with Steam and Counter-Strike.

https://patents.google.com/patent/US11504633B2/en

You get a low trust factor by doing things people do before they get banned. Playing matchmaking on multiple accounts, griefing, cheating, etc.

Your trust factor is not based on the number of unsubstantiated reports you have received. It's only things that you have done. If you don't do things that are only done by people who get banned, you have a high trust score, and if you do things that are mostly done by people who get banned, you have a low trust score.

You can't, but there is a message if you're queued for matchmaking with someone with a much lower trust factor than yours.

Valve learned this stuff from working in China I think. I'm sure they account my behavior score in dota 2 and forum posts as well. I saw somewhere that all of your actions in Steam and Valve games account for your CS trust factor.

Commie social credit score gripes aside if they insist on this sort of thing then people should be able to see their scores and then take corrective actions in fixing it. Dota 2 has a behavior score that people can see and actions they can do to fix it. Aka getting commended, stop griefing, be helpful, etc.
