Bring CSGO Back

I Looked forward to the release of CS2, I was ecstatic to play when I got access to the Beta. It sucked, but I was fine with that of course because it was the Beta. But the release was forced upon us. I grinded the first week I got access to beta (200 games) and then I switched back to CSGO as I realized all of the time I was grinding away literally didn't matter as there were sooo many updates to come as well as many bugs and improper mechanics left unfixed. I was asked on CSGO if I thought CS2 would be released the night before it did I said no way as I never thought valve would publish it in the state that it was or even is in now. But it did get released, and it took CSGO with it immediately. I don't believe this is fair to anybody from the player base. People have spent thousands and thousands of hours learning and trying to master and prefect skills in an unmasterable game just for it to be all for nothing. We get blasted with a new unfinished and honestly completely different game filled with bugs, glitches and cheaters. Were left with altered spray patterns, a new movement system and somehow an even worse set of servers (64 tick really wasn't ever that bad btw). CS2 Blows, smokes blow, sprays blow, servers blow, cheaters blow, MM blows, hit boxes blow, hit reg blows, map changes blow. It all sucks and honestly I think 75% of csgos player base would not care if we reverted back to raw broken csgo. Because getting this ♥♥♥♥ shoveled down our throats is 100X worse than cs ever was and 100X worse than anybody couldve thought the overhaul would be. CS2 sucks ass change my mind.

For me personally I think maybe the reason is probably Valve thinks that if CSGO is not replaced then most of the playerbase won't play the new CS 2 and stay in CSGO instead so they decided to somehow force the players to accept the change in my opinion.

well no ♥♥♥♥, they dont want to split up the community and its stupid to waste resources on csgo and cs2 at the same time

even if they kept csgo, they would still stop the official support which would result the same thing

you're absolutely right I'm complaining to complain. It sucks, you cant adapt to a game that is as inconsistent as this. Who cares if the community divides, let it be divided until they have enough feedback to have a functional game. I don't think many people would care if CS2s launch got delayed because of less feedback. It would add a lot more hype and a lot less backlash. CS2 should not be forced upon us, especially in the rubbish state its in now.

the current state isnt that bad and valve already fixed most of the issues

main aspect of the game is completed, there is no need to wait for more

I liked using CSGO textures for modding, but now that CS2's in the Source 2 format it's impossible to use them since they're not VTFs anymore. I don't see why they'd unlist the old version. Even the sounds are in a new proprietary format.
