Gameserver routed to another country?

im from indonesia, and the best scenario is i will get a good ping if i play at singapore official cs server, but i always got routed to another country and i always get a high ping, any solution for this? thanks.

Perhaps try the matchmaking max ping setting. It shows the server list with pings. For me it seems to work.

i know but thats weird cause my nearest game server is routed to another country game server that more far away

same is happening with me routing me to singapore server 80 ping...when it used to connect to dubai servers with low ping 15-20

same for me with dota 2, with singapore server i got 13-15ms, but always got routed to seoul/dubai that lead me to 150+ms, really Valve? (or steam maybe)
