FIX CS 2 FREEZING (CRASHING)

as the titles says, i hope valve fix this game, i can't play a casual match for 5-10 mins (because it freezes and i need to restart pc,

Don’t have any possibility of be a pc problem since a lot of users are having the same problem even those with the best pcs. It’s a valve problem and they are giving a ♥♥♥♥ to that.

Ok after working all the fixes for some time this worked the best along with re-installing the game and graphic drivers. Also maxed out my ram at 32GB just to be safe, some were stating the limitations of -threads x in the start up was a good fix but it didnt work for me. Also run the game in admin mode and under compatibility mode run in Windows 8 mode, each persons fix will be different but from the research ive done its mostly happening to people with i5/i7 processors that are older than 7 years. Hope this helping everyone

Unfortunately i already made all of that options you said but still don’t stopped the freezes. And for the record my processor is i7 and it’s old too

The only solution i applied and worked is turn off antivirus, firewall and put Fx super resolution on performance..Hope that will work

its not the browser lol Ive tried it, its mostly people with i5/i7 cores and its certain maps like Nuke, Overpass and other huge maps

i find out that ,The fourth generation CPU will encounter this problem,your i5 -4650,my i5-4590, my another computer E3-1226V3 is same 4th generation inter CPU

both my PC have this issue, freeze and no response .its about 2 month why valve dont fix it ?????

it's freezing even on wingman matches... game frozen for 10 rounds (i reconnected and freeze again in the last round (5 minutes after).

i5 6600 - GTX 1060 6gb. Same problem, it crashes and i can kill it with task manager.

Eu encontrei a solução, mudando opções de audio, acredite se quiser kkkkkk. Como foi sugerido pelo video no youtube que segue link,
Mudando a opção "Correção de perspectiva" para "Não" e "Pressionar para falar simplificado" para "Sim".

i've found a solution for me, changing two options in Audio, believe or not lol. As sugested in a youtube video in the link following,
Changing "Perspective correction" to "no" and "Simplified Push to talk" to "Yes"
