As for freezing it is because of new update.
on win 7 if 1 program froze, then it often froze entire PC, but on win10 it no longer happens.
check in your event viewer, most likely you have driver or hardware issue.
also press "numlock". if numlock can be turned on/off, then your PC is not frozen and you just have to kill cs2 process.
note that ALT+F4 is disabled in CS2 to prevent rage quitting, but you can still kill the process using process explorer or task manager.
you can also get "voice attack" and make a hotkey to "kill process". or just say "kill game now" and it will close game.
but if numlock cannot be turned on/off, then its your PC problem, not game.
also this game is so heavy, 60-80 fps( on casual match without smoke spam) 35-50 fps on deathmatch)
I have very old hardware but i still have 150+ fps .
i5 7400 +16gb ram + 6gb 1060gtx most graphic options are on ultra i dont think that freezing connect to hardware because there was no problem before the latest update for me
