October 20th update: Just got my game ban removed, my account is 100% clean now. I hope this is the last update to this situation

October 19th update: The VAC-Bans got removed, but many people, including myself, got a VAC-ban and a gameban at the same time. as of right now, the game ban is still there.

PSA: if you have an RX 7000 GPU and you installed the new 23.10.1 driver, disable Anti-Lag+ in the CS2-specific settings

I've seen some people in a thread saying they have the AMD 23.10.1 gpu driver and so do I.
I want to see if that might actually be it.

Also, if you happen to use an AMD GPU with the 23.10.1 driver, did you enable Anti-Lag+ for CS2 in the driver software?

Anti-Lag+ is not the same as Anti-Lag. It's only supported on the RX 7000 series. People with older graphics cards are fine because they do not currently have that feature.

I had the same driver (23.10.1) when getting banned on a 7900xt. My system is a fresh install of windows 11. I built this pc 1 week ago

last week they banned people for being on windows 7 (and they unbanned them after a few days or so)

i updated yesterday to 23.10.1 (on 7900xtx) (maybe anti lag+ is the problem?) and now i am banned.

also, this specific driver added a toggle inside the driver software for antilag+ for cs2 specifically so I think it could actually make sense

yo, I got a vac ban today and installed the driver 23.10.1 yesterday. pretty devastated because of it

Yes, a guy with 110k inventory also got banned for using the Antilag+ feature.

I think Valve detects this as a 3rd party external program interfering, Anybody truly affected by this should expect this to be reverted.
