extremely low performance on RX 5500 XT

I am having a lot of performance issues, the game defaults itself to high settings and i am getting anywhere from 18 - 35 fps, if i go to the lowest setting i still get the same performance, even dropping the resolution gives me the exact same settings.

My system is win 10 22h2, 8gb ddr3, fx 8320 with rx 5500 xt. I can even run Red Dead Redemption 2 at balanced settings with over 45 fps and GTA5 at the highest settings. What is going on?

You are not alone. I've also recently had a problem with performance on the 3060ti, 100-130 fps regardless of the settings, and it should be 200-300fps

Hello, I have a AMD RX 5700 XT and was also having performance issues, try entering the commands cl_updaterate 128 cl_interp_ratio 1 into your launch options of cs2 this fixed my lag.

No reason for a 8 core cpu that can boost up to 4ghz is the problem for running a game that has the min specs as a quad core cpu.

turn off radeon chill
the people at amd seem to believe 18-35 fps is perfect for gaming so they were so friendly to turn that radeon chill on for you.

i just tried the latest drivers and i am still having the same issue. I noticed performance metrics say only 40% CPU usage and 0 - 15% GPU usage. This is just weird... i also just played Red Dead Redemption 2 for a while and peformance is fine, it's just this CS2 game. I'm just going to quit for now and put a bad review on steam.

Bro your CPU is released in the year 2012, its 2024 now. Not to mention your GPU which is released in 2020 even back then was considered as a low-mid priced entry level GPU. If you really think you can run CS2 on playable fps you are in denial bro.

i played on this pc with gtx 660 ti cs2 run around 90 - 100 fps but after "upgraide" to rx 5500 its running only 40-50 fps so its not problem with my pc. i know i have bad pc but i cant afford new. if you want you can buy me one... that will fix this problem
