CS2 4:3 Stretched on 16:9 black bars with a 21:9 Ultrawide Monitor

I am using a 21:9 Ultrawide Monitor with a native resolution of 3440x1440. I want to run CS2 with a resolution of 1440x1080 (4:3) fullscreen stretched onto a resolution of 2560x1440 (16:9) with black bars on an ultrawide. Whenever I try it the 1440x1080 resolution of cs2 occupies the whole 21:9 screen. I would want for it to run stretched to 2560x1440 only and not the whole 3440x1440.

I tried many different settings but it only works with default nvidia control panel settings and in game 1440x1080 4:3 Full Screen 120HZ resolution. It is stretching to 16:9 with black bars on my ultrawide 3440x1440 165hz monitor (mateview).
For 1920x1440 it only works on 59Hz.

Yeah, he's playing on a normal resolution that fits his screen, without stretched or blackbar nonsense.

You should try it too, saves alot of completely unnecessary troubles and headaches.

use HRC [funk.eu] set the second hotkey to 16:9 and set a hotkey (for me it was 2560x1440 cuz i have 2k monitor)
in nvidia panel disable override set by games and set resolution to your native (so 3440x1440 in my case (i also had gpu scaling idk if display works))
and in cs2 set it up to 4:3 when the game is stretched to fullscreen click the hotkey from hrc
and boom u have 4:3 in fake 16:9 on 21:9

It positions to left but in my case its better than nothing
