Separate CIS countries from EU matchmaking in Counter-Strike 2
As an avid Counter-Strike 2 player, I've had countless frustrating experiences while playing due to the inclusion of CIS countries in EU matchmaking. It's time for a change. Many players, like myself, have noticed a significant amount of cheating originating from these regions, notably Russia, which deteriorates the quality of gameplay for all involved. The influx of cheaters not only undermines fair play but also erodes the enjoyment and integrity of the game.

Additionally, the communication barrier poses a significant problem. The linguistic and cultural differences often lead to misunderstandings and a lack of synergy in teamwork, vital elements in a strategic game like CS2. It creates an environment where playing becomes more of a chore than a source of enjoyment, especially for EU players accustomed to more fluid and collaborative teamwork dynamics.

This petition isn't about creating division, but about fostering a better gaming experience for all players. By adjusting the matchmaking system, players from both regions can enjoy a more competitive and fair gaming environment. CIS players could benefit from playing against local counterparts, honing their skills in a setting that matches their communication and playstyle preferences.

Valve Corporation, it's time to take action. Implement regional matchmaking that reflects the unique characteristics and needs of both EU and CIS players. This change would lead to less frustration and an enhanced overall experience in Counter-Strike 2 for everyone.

Sign this petition to call on Valve to recognize this issue and make the necessary matchmaking adjustments to improve gameplay and community cohesion across regions.

Valve is not interested in your petitions. Create your own game and dictate your own rules there.

thank you for your input
Sounds extremely xenophobic. Why remove them completely?

You could even make your own MM/rules for THIS game too. With your own region locked rules.

if you actually read the post you'd see "CIS players could benefit from playing against local counterparts" its not about removing them completely its about splitting the regions "Implement regional matchmaking that reflects the unique characteristics and needs of both EU and CIS players"

Pretty misleading title dont you think? If your issue is with people not speaking English this is pretty ironic.
dont remove anybody, just make server for them.

They just need to rent servers and ban whoever they want.
The best of the CS franchise is when the community ran the servers.

Not if you can read? I think you are just mad for the sake of being mad. This doesn't even affect you since you would be considered NA who already have separate matchmaking from EU (technically via ping)

I don't believe its misleading at all if people read the whole post I believe that people who actually play in EU servers would overwhelmingly support this vs reject this
