Like....as the title says. It feels like old skins just kepp getting more expensive.

Basically all skins get more expensive because of CS2 (they look better and more people are invested into CS again) and because of inflation.

I believe that prices will continue to rise because of Counter Strike 2. Because there is demand and supply. Some skins become rarer and because of this the price also increases.

I meant in-game though. Darryl got expensive way before all of this. And I still don't know why.

Oh. Well when you look at the market agents generally increased. That was at the time when people found out that some agents have a tinier headshot hitbox. Not sure if darryl is one of them tho. But the price really exploded in the end of march/beginning of april, afaik that was the time where valve announced cs2.

A lot of skins increased by a lot. My awp asiimov was worth 45 euro and now it's worth 180. USP orion 30 euro, now 100. Even before that you could buy butterfly knifes for 90 euro. Now the same knife is worth 800.

That were my total values and time:
15.07.2021 - 2.071,18 €
25.12.2021 - 2.115,83 €
24.07.2022 - 2.813,61 €
So the prices increased by 700 euro within 6 months last year - before CS2 was announced.

Currently the same skins are worth 4.500 euro. I didn't buy anything new.
