CS:GO D3D device error Windows 11
I have an issue with CS:GO, when i play it through the integrated graphics card of my laptop (Intel Iris XE), it works fine, but when i try to run CS:GO through the dedicated graphics card (Nvidia MX550), it doesn't launch, it gives me an error, failed to create D3D device... I tried every possible solution but nothing works, updated windows, reinstalled drivers, reinstalled .NET, directx... Please help!

Windows 11
Yea windows 11 is incompatible with csgo as far as im concerned. CTRL ALT DEL and see if a service called microsoft antiviruse service executable is running (constantly non stop). This is a forced program on windows 11 that has a habit of actually curropting files. It curropts my csgo files about every 3 hours or so. The program is supposed to run then stop but it never stops. My ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC guy for some reason all he had to do was push my OS onto a brand new ssd and put all the extra files in an hdd and idk if he didnt know wtf he was doing but I ended up with windows 11 and my pc is virtually unusable with csgo now. To be fair I have no issues with any other games, so clearly csgo has some vulnerability and cant handle basic fixes quickly. It does drag my boot times down as the windows service drags 20% almost all the time on my drives I imagine it will kill the SSD in a year or so so I have the pc scheduled to go in to get the windows 10 operating system back.

Windows 11 is entirely compatible with CSGO, this seems like a unique issue on your end.

You sure you have the correct nvidia drivers installed? Do you have an Nvidia control panel?

Windows 11 is 100% fine, ive been using it since beta releases and never had in issues in any release.
Also my friends have upgraded and never had any issues and tbh fps/performance even increased compared to Windows 10.

Read what i Sayed. Not sure why you are stuck on your integrated graphics, bc your gpu its not integrated. So no clue why you are stuck on that.

So i have 2 options to launch CSGO, with integrated graphics (power saving) or gpu (high performance), when i try to launch CSGO on high performance mode, it crashes with the d3d device error, but when i launch with integrated graphics, it launches normally.

Go to your nvidia control panel and read the version of the driver.
